What Feminism Promised — And What It Delivered Instead

In the words of Riley Gaines

Feminism promised women empowerment.
But as Riley Gaines so clearly names, what it delivered was emptiness.

For decades, women were told that:

  • Children are a burden

  • Family is a limitation

  • Fulfillment comes from radical independence rather than self-giving love

And yet, here we are — more lonely, more anxious, more disconnected, and more uncertain than ever.

From the very beginning of Scripture, God tells us a different story.

Family is not a setback.
Fruitfulness is not a threat.
Self-sacrificing love is not weakness — it is the source of life.

The modern world insists that happiness is found in autonomy. God insists it is found in love, sacrifice, and legacy.

That is why this conversation matters.

Birthing God’s Mighty Warriors is not about shaming women or condemning past choices. It is about telling the truth that was hidden for too long — that building a family is not the enemy of fulfillment, but often the very place it is found.

Marriage matters.
Children matter.
The next generation matters.

And mothers were never meant to be silent spectators in this story — we were meant to be builders of it.
