What We Cannot Compromise — Because It Was Never Ours to Redefine

Video: Allie Beth Stuckey

There are some truths that are not cultural preferences, political strategies, or social trends.

They are foundational realities.

If we believe the very first chapter of the very first book of the Bible, then we believe this: Human beings were created intentionally, distinctly, and beautifully—male and female.

Not interchangeable.
Not replaceable.
Not redefinable.

That truth extends beyond biology into family itself.

A husband and wife are not interchangeable roles.
A mother cannot become a father.
A father cannot become a mother.
And children are not abstractions—they are souls who need both.

This is not about offense.
It is not about politics.
It is not about division.

For Christians, it is about faithfulness.

When we speak about marriage, family, and even hard legal conversations, we are not trying to impose a worldview—we are simply refusing to abandon the one God gave us.

Birthing God’s Mighty Warriors exists because these truths were quietly set aside for too long, leaving parents unsure and children confused. Mothers were told to stay silent. Fathers were minimized. And the family—the very structure God designed to nurture the next generation—was treated as optional.

But motherhood is not optional.
Fatherhood is not interchangeable.
And truth is not something we get to edit.

This is not a call to anger.
It is a call to clarity.

And clarity, when rooted in love and Scripture, is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children.
